Walking to Bethlehem
We invite you to experience the season of Advent with us as we make our way to Bethlehem and the birth of our Savior. Weekly worship will be recorded and posted each Sunday, along with downloadable worship packets. Whether you join us in person or online, we send you hope, peace, joy and love in this most special time of year!

Advent Connections
To be sure, Christmas at Taylorsville won’t look the same this year – but we hope and pray it will be as meaningful as ever for you and yours.
This year for Advent at Taylorsville…
  • We will be “Walking to Bethlehem” each Sunday as we await the birth of Christ. Weekly worship, both virtual and in-person, will be centered around verses, candle lighting, prayers, readings and song that usher in Hope, Love, Joy and Peace.
  • The beauty of poinsettia’s will decorate our sanctuary a bit early because we could all use a little extra beauty right now. Please reserve a poinsettia in honor or memory of a loved one by November 30th. And look for photos on our Facebook and website.
  • To help our Feed My Sheep ministry, you are invited to use the Reverse Advent Calendar to pack bags of food to stock our pantry. Donation boxes will be in the vestibule at church and we will have a drop off bin outside the building on Monday’s for those who are not attending worship.
  • The Christmas Card Post Office will not be open at church this year. Instead, we encourage you to send a few cards to those on our Cares, Concerns and Shut-ins list. Names and addresses will be sent out and available by the start of December.
  • We will not host an in-person Christmas Eve service. It will be sad to miss this lovely tradition but the health and safety of our members and community are more important. You can look forward to a recorded version of our traditional Lessons & Carols service to be available the week of Christmas. We hope you can enjoy this service at home in a new way.
