FEED MY SHEEP FOOD PANTRY

"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me" Matthew 25:35
Taylorsville Baptist Church's newest community outreach program is the "Feed My Sheep" Food Pantry. Church members and guests are welcome to help stock grocery bags and meet every third Wednesday of the month to help distribute or deliver groceries to local families experiencing crisis and hardship. We currently serve over 50 families with over 150 family members each month.

During the holidays, we have been blessed to receive donations to distribute larger ticket food items to the local families we serve.

Feed My Sheep has been a terrific way for the gospel to touch our community, as well as teach our youth about the importance of service. We welcome all members and guests to donate non-perishable food items for collection in the Fellowship Hall every week.

Right now, the food pantry could use the following items: peanut butter, jelly, cereal/oatmeal, mac and cheese, canned fruit, spaghetti and sauce, and canned veggies.

Ways to donate and be active

We welcome any food donations of non-perishable items in our fellowship hall. If you are interested in donating higher ticket items for holidays or special occasions, please reach out to a member of our ministry team. We also will bag groceries the Sunday prior to the Wednesday distribution (2nd Sunday of the month).

Keep an eye out on our calendar to see when the food pantry is operating and distributing groceries.

Monetary donations are provided through our tithes and offering program and you can donate here:
